Deliciously Francine's

Francine has been working hard to get her start-up off the ground. She has incredible decorating skills. The cake above was made for the Fitchburg birthdays (there are a lot of birthdays in January). If you are in the area, I would recommend you give her a call for any dessert needs.

Here is her website: Deliciously Francine's

Since the baby is due in a week or so, I decided to crash my car up. It wasn't like I had anything going on. I was enjoying my payment-less 99 Saturn for a few months. At least I am fine. I guess it couldn't have happened at a better time. Our friend, Edie, was moving to Texas and was able to leave me her car for the month. I'll have to buy her a thank you cake from Francine.

Our basement is almost done. The electric boxes need to be installed, then the carpet. We started painting today. I think its going to look pretty good. Sarah has this idea of putting up a nice rich blue on the long wall with a nice brown and white stripe. She said Oprah inspired her. Once the basement is done, I'll be able to have an office again. Just in time too. I have a feeling I'll need to work at home a lot more over the next few months. Below are a few picutres of the basement before we started painting.

Snow

We got quite a bit of snow today. Nice and fluffy snow. Caleb hasn't really played in snow too much so it was a good time to take him out. He seemed to like it alright, he just couldn't move too much with all the layers we put on him. Posted by Picasa

The countdown ...

We are in the final stretch here. March 5th is the due date. That's just four quick weeks away. In typical Carr family fashion we are rushing to do everything at the end. Our basement is going to be finished over the next few weeks. Hopefully all the noise doesn't make the new baby come early.

I have posted up another batch of photos to share with everyone.

January was over all a good month, with one huge exception (poor meow meow). Caleb and I recently went to see Elmo in person at the Sesame Street Live show. Caleb and I asked our friends Paul and Katie to come with us. Both the kids had a lot of fun. We will definately go back the next time they come around. Caleb enjoyed seeing the monsters on stage, but he wasn't too sure about touching the Honker when he walked up the aisle shaking hands.

Denise's daughter Rory turned 1 year old on Thursday. Caleb went to her party and helped her open her presents. Caleb really loves opening presents. Posted by Picasa
