Toothy Grin ( with one tooth)

I couldn't resist taking these pictures. Sawyer is so funny. The past couple of days, he's been making this huge 'toothy' grin every time the camera comes out. Excuse dinner, but you can get a good look at his tooth. Posted by Picasa

Big Developments

Sawyer is growing up so fast. This has been a big week for him. Over the past week or so he has learned to clap, wave (his favorite), crawl (commando), and got his FIRST TOOTH. He is really doing well. He is coming out with something new every day just about. He loves to wave hello, goodbye and everything in between. He claps but not often on cue. And his first tooth popped through on Friday. It's his bottom right front tooth. He has been doing really well with it. He hasn't been too upset and no ear infections like some kids get. Hopefully this luck with hold out. Both of the boys are really doing well. Caleb just loves Sawyer and Sawyer is delighted by Caleb. They really do bring us joy. (Can you tell that today has been a good day... both kids napped. It's like they are little angels.)

Random November Photos

Here's a collection of random photos from the month so far. Sawer sitting up in the rocking chair and Caleb doing some yardwork with his uncle Chris. The photo set as the album cover is actually a funny story. (Titi) Michelle was over for dinner and we were getting our food to head to the table and eat. Caleb was the first one there, and Jeremy had set his plate down and gotten up for a drink. Well, I looked over at Caleb and found him "sharing" his rice "with Daddy". He was shoveling spoonfulls over to Jeremy's plate one by one. It seems he was feeling more generous than hungry. It was so funny. Only about 50% of the rice actually made it to the plate. The rest found its way to the table or floor. But the innocence of it made it priceless. Caleb saw nothing wrong with the process. Ahh... Two... such fun.

Playing with the Girls

Today, we had the chance to get together with the gals for a play date. Denise and Rory hosted; Janelle and her little one Anna joined us. We went to the park, as the weather was fabulous. The kids had a blast! Every nice day we have is a blessing. We keep saying it's the last. Which makes us appreciate each one like it's a bonus. The kids played so well together and ate a yummy lunch. And it was nice to have some Mommy talk as well. Hope to do it again real soon.

Play Date

Our fist playdate was a success. Francine and Isabelle came over, and Allie and Devon. The kids had so much fun. They ate a nice lunch and had some play time. And did two art projects. We are going to try to do something each week. We're off to a good start.
