Caleb 1st Grade
My boy is headed to first grade. Holy Moly time flies. He loves his new teacher, Mrs Piccolomini! She has experience and really challenges him.
grad party
Auntie Allie graduated from UNH in the spring and left for Chicago at the end of the summer. Bob and Janis threw her a lovely party to celebrate her accomplishments. Note that many of these pictures were taken by Audrey :)
ecotarium
We had a couple playdates with the Creaven cousins and an outing to the ecotarium in Worcester. It was a nice day trip.
a's bday
Audrey's third birthday was a good time. Unfortunately Audrey was a grump. She and Sawyer had an unknown virus that made them miserable. (Note the blow-out-your-candles section).
Summer 2010 random
This album has some random odds and ends pics from the summer. Including the Paine reunion at cousin Cindy's house and a couple playdates.
You are what you eat
Our third annual trip to the Crane's beach Sandblast. A competition of sand sculptures. This year was themed You are What you Eat. It was neat to see the different interpretations. The morning was chilly. And you'll see the dark skies. But as the day went on, the clouds (and gnats) burned off and it warmed right up.
MOS with M & J
While Auntie Melissa and Joshua were here for a visit, we headed to Boston for the day. We started out at the Museum of Science and then on to Quincy Market for dinner. Finished up with a walk to the North End for dessert. Sawyer and Caleb had their own ideas and detoured to the fountains in the public garden. It was a riot. They had everyone entertained for about an hour. Fully clothed and not a towel in sight, they soaked themselves from head to toe.
blueberries
It started a crisp morning. Then... not so much. As you might see Sawyer's face. About 100 shades of red. There were millions of blueberries at the farm. It was yummy!!!
tin man
Do you know this man? Or who made him? We found him under the couch in the basement and the artist/creator has not yet come forward. Someone made him. I'm hoping it wasn't a hobo living in the walls somewhere. Someone needs to claim it!
pj party
This was the Rooney Reunion 2010. A pajama party. We played some of the games from the tv show Minute to Win It. What a riot!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve. Such anticipation such promise! The kids had a chance to open their new pj's and ornaments from Nana and get themselves set for the day ahead. We were already upstairs ready for bed when I remembered that we'd forgotten the milk and cookies for Santa. Well, Caleb was so anxious to go to sleep he wouldn't even get out of his bed. Sawyer and Audrey jumped at the oportunity to prolong bedtime. By the time we made it back up 10 minutes later, Caleb was snoring!

This was early to mid December. Getting in the holiday spirit. A million attempts at a Christmas Card photo (Don't worry, you weren't the only one who didn't get one. We never got around to that). Cookie decorating and Gingerbread house construction.
