Flower power

flower power

These photos are to pay tribute to all of Audrey's family in the south. Auntie Shelley made this hair band for Audrey and as you will see, she loves it. She looks like a little southern bell. Enjoy!

Kiddos

kiddos

These are photos from the last couple of weeks that didn't fit a particular category. Just this and that. Some good ones of each kiddo. And some from our playdate with Rory and Denise. It was nice to visit with them. It's been too long.

First Fieldtrip

fieldtrip

Last week was the fist fieldtrip of the year with Caleb's preschool. We went to a local apple orchard. Tis the season. Jeremy was able to get the day off of work and the whole family went. It was nice that we were all able to enjoy it. There was a hayride, apple picking, cider and donut snack and pumpkin picking. It was great for the kids and only a few hours which is about right for the attention of the kids. It was fun. So New England.

Carrs Visit

Carrs visit

Grandma and Grandpa Carr came for a visit and brought Auntie Allie too. Allie was home from college for the weekend and this was the first time she had a chance to meet Audrey. It was really nice to get together. Everybody played with the Wii and Caleb and I made milkshakes for dessert.

Finger painting

finger painting

Is it finger painting or body painting? These kids really got into their artwork. The next day at preschool Caleb did some fingerpainting. We haven't tried it at home yet, but they used vanilla instant pudding and food coloring. Then the kids can lick their fingers between colors. He loved it. I can't wait to try it at home.

Michaella's wedding

Michaella and Rodney's wedding

Michaella and Rodney Tucker were married on October 6. It was a beautiful afternoon and a beautiful ceremony. You can see in the photos that the ceremony was outside on the water with the sailboats in the background. It was nice to visit with all of the family. Other than Michelle and I, Michaella is the first cousin to get married. Welcome to the club girl!

Shower for Michaella

Mic's shower

Michaella's wedding shower was a great success. As she and Rodney live out of state, guests were asked to mail their gifts and present a replica, or representation of the gift. Some guests really went all out. Justine's diarama of the happy couple's kitchen took the cake. As I mentioned that night... someone has all three kids in school. Lots of fun.
