Visit

Holloway visit

Today, Grandma and Grandpa Holloway and Tracy and Elizabeth came up to check out the twins and came over for lunch after. We had a nice visit. Unfortunately, Jeremy and Caleb weren't here, but Sawyer and Audrey were good entertainment. Elizabeth was great playing with Sawyer. He had a blast.

Sword play

sword play

This was some gear we picked up at the yard sales yesterday. The kids were playing with the swords and Sawyer tried to dress himself in the knight costume. So I took some photos and then he insisted that I wear the costume and he take the pics. His photographer skills, pretty good; me in the costume priceless, as in thank goodness it's free because no one would pay. But they're funny. I think Audrey is a Jedi

One of the boys

one of the boys

These pics were pretty phallic. I laughed outloud, so I had to share them. Just one of the boys.

He-Man

I am He-man

Caleb and Sawyer love He-man these days. Jeremy has been introducing the shows to them from youtube and the boys like to pretend they are the characters. Caleb has been pretending in the back yard all summer. So I got some swords at a yardsale yesterday and the two little ones did their best impressions.

rain and cookies

bits and pieces from the last couple weeks. Nana and the boys rainy day play, Audrey's first chocolate cookie and Sawyer and Matthew playing in the pool.

9 Berries

This was cute. Sawyer was sharing (lots)his blueberries with Audrey.

Cousins

cousins

These are the photos of all of the cousins getting to meet eachother. Caleb was so excited from even before the girls were born. He was so over the moon when he got to meet them. He was all about the kisses and was so excited that he could hold each one. Sawyer was shreiking with joy. Gentle is not in his vocab, so there's more defense needed when he loves them, but he too is over the moon. Lots of kisses and hugs (you should have seen the matrix like moves Michelle and I made the time he just about hugged the little angel's head right off her neck). Audrey took a couple of visits to check them out, but now she goes right over to the pack n' play where they sleep and pulls herself up to try to get a peek. It's great. They are all going to be such great playmates.

Dancing girl

audrey dance

We were pretty giddy around here while we were waiting for the girls to be born. So Jeremy found some 'Isn't she lovely' and Audrey and I got our silly dance on.

Glenn's pics

Glenns Pictures

These are the photos from Glenn and Michelle's from the first couple days in teh hospital. And yes, Glenn got to keep the hairnet.

Kid Condo

These are the remainder of the pics from this month so far. Not including the pics of Kaylah and Sydney. I will have to sift those tomorrow. The highlights of these are the boys in their kid condo. My dad gave us this little cupboard for the playroom and within its first minute in the house, the boys were in it. It has been hours of fun already. And coincidentally I was out hunting at yard sales today and bought two matching bookshelves. It was meant to be.
Hopefully I will get the rest up in the next day or so.

Nana the Great

Nana the great is up from Florida for the summer and came up to Mass for a long weekend. Unfortunately we were in the middle of the flu, but we had a nice visit anyway. It is always great to get together.

Silly pics

more july

These are come cute kid pics and some from our vist with the Carrs. Sawyer his having fun with these faces. The sad and then happy. Super silly. Audrey was interested in feeding herself. An interesting job.

Princess Party

Princess Isabelle's 4

Princess Isabelle turned 4. It turned into a costume party with lots of royalty. Caleb, being Caleb opted to be the dragon. This worked, and was even more fitting when he refused to enter the house and spent the first entire hour on the porch. That is what the dragon does right? sits outside and guards the castle. All the 4 year olds were a bit out of sorts. Even the princess had attitude. They were all in good company.

Tom Bobble

This is a funny little game like 'this little piggie went to market'. My dad does it him and he has taken to doing it by himself. It goes with the toes, but Sawyer is equal oportunity. He uses fingers and toes.

Davis

Davis

This was our first trip to Davis' Farmland this year. We went with the Winslow's and had a great time. It is funny to see the kids at different ages and see their reaction. It was the four year olds who were afraid of things and didn't want to get wet at the water park. Let me tell you that Sawyer did not have those issues. Like everything else, he's full speed ahead. Audrey did good. She liked everything.

Early July

Lots of photos from early July. It starts with Nana's birthday. Dinner here with the fam and the Monday crew on her actual birtday. Some pics from the back yard on one of the million degree days with 99% humidity, notice the naked kids. There was a visit with Jen and Caroline and Michelle and Guiness (pre-twins).

everyone likes parfait

parfait

call it yogurt and fruit for lunch and it's no thanks... call it parfait and it's yum-o. put three M&M's on it and it's the new favorite. The 'fancy' sunday glasses put it over the notch.

Aadreee

Aaadreee

This is a video of Audrey saying her name. She can say Dada, Nana and her own name. She likes to say yes(yesh) and a few other good sounds. Not sure how much she gets about what they mean, but she likes to say them.

Outside times

outsidefun

These are some pics from out and about throughout the month. Caleb got some chalk toys for his birthday and the kids had fun with those. There are some water shots from the kiddie pool, sprinkler and big pool. Some cute photos of Sawyer playing peek a boo with Audrey. And the ones of Sawyer eating corn on the cob are of interest because it was raw. He was too impatient for it to be cooked and he ate the whole thing raw. That's Sawyer.

July 4th

These are pics from the fourth of July. Bob and John set off a great fireworks display every year. This year was no different. Food, campfire, s'mores and fireworks over the lake. It was great. Caleb was not a big fan of the loud noises, but managed. Audrey fell asleep half way through, and Sawyer drooled all over Nana. Most of us watched from the boat which was a great view. After the fireworks, some of the kids were lighting sparklers. Caleb was trying, and unfortunately had an accident. Nana was helping him to light one off another and some sparks flew. One hit the inner corner of his eye and another hit his foot. Nothing major, but enough to scare the bajeebees out of him and teach us to hold off for another few years. All in all a good time.

A rose by any other name

They say a rose by any other name smells as sweet, but I think these babies got even more beautiful when they were given their proper names. They are adorable! The middle names honor the grandmas Ellen for Marian's middle name and Antonia for Noni's first name. What a blessing.

IT'S BABY DAY X2

Creaven Babies

So, today was the day. We were blessed by 2. Two little girls. YUP! Baby A and Baby B. Original you say... We can't rush into these things. They are healthy and beautiful. Names or not. here are the stats:
Baby A: born at 4:43PM, 18 inches long, 5lb 6oz
Baby B: born at 4:59PM, 19 inches long, 5lb 4oz
There are millions of pics already, and here they are for you. To differentiate which is which, A has thin stripes on her blanket, and is fair skin. B has fat stripes on her blanket and is darker skin.
Mom and Dad are doing well. Mom is still working out the kinks... It is a labor of love, as we all know. But hopefully by tomorrow should be up and kicking.
Enjoy the photos!
