Call 'em Spike

From spikes

Sawyer occasionally likes to wear his hair in a spike, green no less. Not to be left out, Audrey sported a mohawk. The spent the day like that. Divas.

Monkey see- Monkey do

From ears

She's so tribal. Grandpa was playing and put the clothes pin on his ear. Monkey see- monkey do. and the rest is photo history.

Brush

From brush

Mess be gone. There was a massive pile of brush gathered after the nasty storm this winter. It took forever, but they finally came and picked it up. Sawyer and I enjoyed watching them gather it all and take it away.

Play time

From play date

These are some pics of our three famiy playdate. The Andersons, Johnsons and Carrs. We have 9 kids between us, but we were missing Ryan. He's a big kid now and was in school this day. The kids love playing together and are really closely matched in age. They are quite a crew. They ran the park.

Rocket Man

From rocket man

Last year, Caleb got this costume for his birthday. One year later it is getting its use. All of the kids enjoyed parts of the costume, but Sawyer donned the entire thing and posed for photos.

Circus in a box

From circus

This is the way to see the circus. Box seats. I think this is the way to see just about anything. Our last trip to the circus was a disaster. Caleb wanted out in about 3 seconds. This was a much better experience. He covered his ears for the first hour, but after that he settled right in and really loved it. The little ones could run around and there were lots of yummy snacks and drinks. The b-ball game was on the flat screen for the adults and oh, yeah, there was a circus going on. It was really great.

zoo date

From zoo-trip

We went to the zoo with the Johnson's and about 4 million of our closest friends. It was about a million degrees and the place was packed. It rivaled Disney on its busiest day. It was in a word crazy. But we had fun just the same. We bought the family a season pass, so not to worry, we'll go back.

Fun with a box

From fun in a box

It doesn't matter what came in the box, the box is always fun. With a little imagination, that is.

Henry's house

From henry's house

We went to a playdate at Henry's house. There is nothing like playing with someone else's stuff. It was fun for the kids and us moms too.

Art Show 2009

From art show

The school had their second annual art show. I helped out this year and it was nice to see it all come together. It was great to see the kids light up as they saw their artwork presented with such care and spotlight. Each child had a bio and framed masterpiece. It was really adorable.

Easter Fun

From easter

Easter fun from dying eggs to Easter Day. The kids really got into dying eggs, Caleb made deviled eggs and they were thrilled to have a visit from the bunny. Nana bought Audrey's dress. She just loves bonnets. It was really funny actually. It was a nice get together.

Dino Park

From dino park

Just as soon as the weather was warm enough, we started hitting the dino park in Leominster. This is a great toddler park the kids just love. Even Kaylah and Sydney are starting to get in on the action.

Boston Aquarium

From aquarium

The kids took their first trip into the aquarium. Nana, Titi Michelle, and the twins came too. The sharks were the biggest attraction for our kids. Audrey was shreiking and pointing. The boys couldn't get enough. It was really neat to see their excitement.

Were you wondering if Audrey could pitch a fit?

Audrey and Sawyer were in such a hurry for dinner, that they were insisting on eating frozen fish sticks. Not very kindly taking to the idea they couldn't.
From fit

Hannaford Field trip

Each of the preschool classes went on a field trip to Hannaford Supermarket. Jeremy went with Caleb on his and Audrey and I went with Sawyer. He made instant friends with the tour guide (I know you're shocked), and led his class around the store. The kids loved the tour and were thrilled to end in the bakery with a tasty treat.

From hannaford

You look Irish

You look a little Irish to me. Don't we all look Irish on Saint Patty's day?
From st pats

Phone Call

From phone call

This gal loves the phone. Perhaps much like her mom. You have to watch the video clip.

See Audrey?

From see Audrey

Snow day

From snow day

Snow suits really just make ya laugh. These two puff balls were too bundled to really enjoy the snow. It was too deep. But Sawyer found some huge icicles and that was fun enough. Unfortunately Audrey slipped on a patch of ice hidden under the snow and got an ugly bump on her head.

Early March

From early march

Early March had some cuties. Tummy time with Daddy, Kaylah and Sydney visits, and Sawyer trying out the idea of a foot stool while on the potty.

Stripes

From stripes

Cute little jail birds.

Feb Fun

From February bits

February was fun and filled with bits and pieces.

visit

From carr visit

Visits with Grandma and Grandpa make for lots of giggles.

Walk in the park

From cemetary

This was a walk to the cemetary park in hopes to draw out the spring. It had started to warm up and the snow was melting. The kids had a blast. This was also the first look we were getting after the ice storm. Like everywhere else, the cemetary was a mess.

You know you love babies

From babies

Everybody loves a baby.

Anderson visit

From anderson visit

We had a fun visit with the Andersons and Isabelle. We made yummy cookies and had a great visit.

Sawyer's first day of school

From Sawyer's first school

Sawyer's first real day of preschool. Complete with Caleb's tips and guidance :)

lick it

From tongue strength

Sawyer did some pretty neat exercises with his speach therapist Destinee. This day she put peanut butter all around his mouth and he needed to lick it off. This was to strengthen his tongue. He was also working on his pucker and blowing cotton balls.

Speckled frog

From sawyer's spots

This kid gets some crazy germs. And often they show up in the form of speckles. This is one of those times.

Rory turns 4

From rory's 4

Our friend Rory had her 4th birthday and we got to meet her new sister Maeve. Unfortunately, Sawyer and Audrey were fighting something and weren't able to go.
