Dash And Bash

Today was the Dash and Bash Triathlon. Michelle and four of her friends participated; Kim, Missy, Renee, and Lauren. So it was our job to bring the cheering squad. We were nine strong, but loud enough for an army. Well, we tried. We had music, and we clapped and yelled and whistled. All of the Ladies did amazing. All completing the race, and with very good times. Michelle finished in 1:32.38, which was well ahead of her goal time of 2:10. She Kicked Butt.
In the cheering section, there was our family, my Mom and Dad, my Nana (the Great), Glenn (CUG), and Lexi (Kim's daughter). We were all up at 6 to be to the race for the start at 8. And stayed till the last runner came in. We had fun. But we're voting for a start time of noon next year.

Beaudoin Visit

Beaudoin visit
Aug 1, 2006 - 168 Photos

These are the photos of the Beaudoin Family visit. Everyone was able to meet Sawyer for the first time and the kids had a great time playing together. Caleb and Drew were fast friends. And Caleb may just marry an older woman if Olivia stays sweet on him. Those would be some beautiful children. Anyway, we had a great visit. We went to the Discovery Museum in Acton, and Davis Farmland in Sterling, and still had a couple of days to relax and go to the mall, eat at Friendly's... the usual. It was a blast. Five and a half children under the age of 5. And for those that are wondering, Shelley is expecting her fourth, I'm not that fast. We can't wait to meet the newest little one. Maybe our next visit will be in Arkansas.

Davis Farm

We had a chance to get together with Aunt Karen and our cousins Amy Rose, Jodie and Katie Lavigne. We checked out all the farm animals and spent quite a while at the splash park. It was a beautiful day and we all had a blast.

Bouncy Seat

Caleb liked this bouncy seat, but Sawyer LOVES it. He's like a little frog in it. He giggles and bounces for quite a while before getting restless. We attached a video for you to get the full affect. Hope you enjoy.

Photo updates

The new photo software we are using allows us to put captions on the photos. So, here is our first set. We are going to move away from publishing photos by month. Now we will do more smaller albums more frequently.

Discovery Museum

Today the family tried to beat the 102 degree heat by going to the Acton Discovery Museum. It's a great place for kids to learn and play. We went with the Beaudoins, so we were quite the posse. 5 kids under the age of 5. In this picture, Caleb is playing in the water with Olivia and Isaac. It was extra special since Daddy took the day off of work to come as well.

Caleb played with all kinds of fun things. He especially liked the chain reaction room. It was a room full of ball mazes. It was a bunch of tubes connecting together. You would drop a ball in and it would roll around the maze, dinging bells and bouncing around. Before leaving, Caleb got a hammer painted on his face.

After the museum, we headed over to Friendly's for some lunch. Caleb was very hungry from all that playing. He wolfed down his grilled cheese and fries.

It was girl's night out, so Daddy stayed home with the boys while Mom and Nana went out to the movies and dinner. Posted by Picasa
