Please welcome to the Carr Family: Sawyer Michael Carr. He's a big guy. 10 lbs 13 oz at 12:44am. He's 21.5". It was quite a night to remember. Labor was a "quick" 10 hours (compared to Caleb's 4 day labor). Sarah was amazing. She was in so much pain but was able to stay focused and get the baby out without any rips or tears. This time around with went with Midwives instead of a doctor. It worked out well for us. Susan Selbe was our delievery mid-wife and she really helped when it was needed.
I expected that if it was a boy, that he would be a little Caleb clone. Sawyer doesnt really look like Caleb too much. Maybe it's just cause he's the michelin man. Oh yeah, he also has hair. Something Caleb didnt have for a long time.
Today is also Sarah's sister, Michelle's birthday. So, happy birthday to the both of them.
