I love birthday parties. What kid doesn't. Caleb wanted a bug party this year. I think we pulled it off. There were two cakes. One was an ant mound with creepy crawlys all over, and the other was a spiderweb complet with Ring Ding spider and fly for dinner. We also had dirt cups (pudding with gummy worms and crushed grahams). The kids always have a blast. There were a couple activities, but all in all the kids just played with eachother. It is so nice to get the family and friends together. I think this was the first year that Caleb really got the concept of the Birthday and all that it includes. Planning and expectations. Can't wait for our next party in August!
